I love that second to last page. You can see mc’s mom push Mc away but you can also see mc pull his mom away. I love it so much.

Charcoal + heater + sealed windows = enclosed space filled with carbon monoxide which will result in death. That's the reason why the MC starts furiously pulling off the tape on the windows, you can see him notice the tape and the taped up windows in the same panel. (Page 7 and page 8)
