It's both great and terrible that he recognizes what the truth means instead of just focusing on the surface of it. The fact that he immediately grasped how the existence of the secret means that Oura secretly hates that aspect of her life puts him in a positive light and a position to truly help her, but also sets us up for some grade A highly concentrated melodrama down the line.
MC is the chad of all chads, I thought he’d already realised but this reveal is even better. There’s functionally no way for him to be wrong and we see him process it pretty much immediately.
He definitely realised how much of a support cog he is for her already and will likely double and triple down, he’s already been making sure she gets enough of a high school youth experience already so I expect him to do more.
I think given how the MC in his mind thinks he can hold things back but tends to be outgoing in the moment, the encounter with her mother should be fun. She will definitely want him to be separated from oura but that ensures everything will swiftly go up in flames after.
I cannot belive there’s so chapters, long as they are. I need like 50 more
