damn... next you're gonna tell me Bruce Wayne is the Batman or some shit
Nah don't worry. Bruce Wayne is definitely just the Batman's brother.

FMC's mother though, JFC she seems like the type who would try to sell her kid to a producer for the night because "it'll help your career". It wouldn't come to that though, this series isn't nearly dark enough for that.... I hope.
Nah, she's not bad to this level.
Remember when Oura-san told her she wanted to try acting, she was surprised. She wanted her to act, but she know Oura-san didn't want it and she didn't force her.

The mother is self-absorbed, she has committed one of the cardinal sins of parenthood: forgetting your child must live its own life, independent of your own. But she's not wilfully evil.

Agreed. I could definitely see the story getting a resolution where they just talked things out with the mother.

If anything, this chapter makes it obvious that our boy knew something fishy was going on, he just didn't want to shatter the illusion.
And kudos to him for doing so.

Waku is a very likeable character, he's wimpy, insecure and a bit cowardly, but also a genuinely nice guy with the courage to stand for what is right.

This is one of the case where the status quo shouldn't be changed. Instead, we get treated to a rather significant dcharacter evelopment with Waku wherein he realizes how important he is to Oura-san. He doesn't even get mad for her lying or question the fact why she hid the truth from him.

Now this is a great romcom MC... No doormat, no aura farmer, just a caring nice guy. Props to the author:thumbsup:
I mean Earth is certainly... trying.

Well... now he 100% knows... hard to believe nobody put two and two together before... but I suppose siblings can just happen to look very similar... but when you are forced to accept it when they had the same keychain that you got her... it's like yeah. It's nice he understands though... that he's not upset that she was hiding it. I do think it is silly he wouldn't bring it up with her still, but... alright...

I'm so happy Waku was able to learn Oura's identity much sooner and the hardships she's been getting on modeling

Even though our MC is a stereotypical wimp, he's a good straightforward guy with a lot of emotional intelligence. I love that he found out so quickly and that he's trying his best to support her.

I’d kill to have a friend like Waku… such a wonderfully empathetic guy. Oura’s bright smile could definitely light up the world for a millennium.

Thank you for the chapter!!
