Would've made more sense to see if there was a post-credit scene

I always do, even before marvel started with the post credits scenes, it's a good time to talk/think about the movie with others and enjoy the BGM, also check some of the names from time to time.

I think this is one reason that post-credit scenes were put in. If you look at the films from 70 years ago or longer you usually didn't have more than a company logo at the end and the primary actors were were credited in the intro. After they moved the credits to the end and started adding everything down to Water Boy why would anyone stay if they didn't have a specific interest in who made the film?
