Absolutely wild. However, this kind of story is best kept as a oneshot. Trying to wake up a lazy bum in such a grandiose manner taking up ~15 pages twice is a bit overkill. It got old real fucking fast.

Just because I was curious, the sutra was the Heart Sutra, which is a really popular one. 'Form is emptiness, emptiness is form. No eyes, no ears, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind.' That would have been PERFECT for this. But no, the part the manga uses is just 'Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the Profound Prajnaparamita, who sees through the eyes of many times...' So yeah, no reason to TS that.
