This manga rocks the 5/10 energy. Everything feels mid about it.
It could've been 8/10, if the father-daughter interactions were more like in
S Rank ni Natteta, where the dad acts as a monolith to revere, and he also acts like something that is worthy of reverence.
This MC, however, acts like a teenager through and through, other than sometimes being good at teaching. There's no fatherly charisma here, and the whole point is that: "The MC is a PAPPA, to two influential daughters".
P.S: Another good example of: "this old guy deserves all of our respect, even if he strangely lacks confidence" -- is
Katainaka no Ossan.
It's totally possible to do the: "secretly OP / stronger than he thinks" trope, and not end up with an awkward carpet of a self-insert.
