An interesting choice to use the same story again lol. It has to be the same universe, though the author could've maybe just have had this as a side thing in the other manga.

Most likely it have the same world and timeline as the other one because of same setting (isolated school at mountain from junior to senior(6 years)), same start (earthquake), same first enemy (orc), and same lvling system (white room with laptop). It almost impossible for a new story without connection to reuse that many elements. But still, most likely two of mc will not meet, that just my guest though.

I just think the author wanted to redo the series without plot armor. There are probably other motivations too

Now that i think about it...
The other mango mc asked can he revive after he dies and the pc answered he cannot, now this mc always revive after he dies back to his last save point/checkpoint.

I don't think it's shared universe plot because if they ever met they'll be quite a strong duo, this manga mc can just go die and inform the other manga's mc to solve everything just like subaru.
