The trouble with groups going to their own sites is not that it's inherently wrong to do so, but more that I'm more likely to just go to an upload-ripping aggregator to get chapters not on mangadex, since it's easier. I'm less likely to look through their upload catalogue if their continuations don't host on a crediting site like Mangadex.
