I wake up 3 hours earlier than my wife, with a silent/vibration alarm, then a "wake up idiot" loud alarm if I fail the first check. I don't want to wake her up every working day when she needs to get her sleep (she needs more than I do). We have a larger bed that's definitively hers, which I sleep in on the weekends when neither of us have alarms. It also helps that I can sleep in any situation, while she's a difficult sleeper and wouldn't be able to sleep in the cheaper bed I have.Huh, I get that people have their preferences, but what is it like for married couples to sleep in separate beds?
It was a realistic solution to a set of circumstances and problems.
