Ise-style? and Matsuyama beef sounds like a reference to Matsusaka. For some reason I assumed this took place in or near Tokyo, but I guess it's in Mie? Someone please fill me in if I'm mistaken or it's already been confirmed and my memory is simply failing me.

"Kicking things off with boobs!"
Well, that's a way to start a chapter.

Whether it was a dream or real, she'd absolutely do that.

"You blocked the speakers in a ridiculous way!"
One, it doesn't block sound that well if you're that close, and two, vibrations are a thing.

"Haven't I gotten at least a little better...?"
"I burned it again!"
So not so much. And burning things while you're actively tending to it is a bit too careless, unless it's something very sensitive. For eggs, you don't need that kind of heat.

"Is it even safe to eat...?"
Unsafe bentos only happen in romcom mangas, so don't worry.

What she wears at the end is sexier than what she wears in the beginning.

It's always a tad weird when manga portrays cooking as some sort of mystical lost art that only a few chosen ones are capable of wielding.
Yeah, it's not that hard. You heat things up in a pan or in water until it gets the desired texture, and mix various things together after recipe. The end.

I’ve worked in the food industry before and lemme tell you, some people CAN NOT cook. It’s like the second they’re in front of a prep station ever drop of brain power just spills onto the floor

At least it doesn't spill on the grill... And just because it's easy doesn't mean people still can't fail spectacularly at it. Just look at the Cuphead tutorial...

But the point is that manga treat those people as the default. I had cooking classes back in school with several classes in different schools, and I never encountered someone who couldn't do basic things if they got instructions.
