Most of the time, yes. I only know of Berserk being one of the few that kept going after the death of the Author. But he already knew he was dying, so he was able to relay his wishes for the ip and planned for the story to continue after his death. The artist is the only one who knows how Berserk is supposed to end, it's just getting there is the hard work, especially when you're not the original writer. Just look at Game of Thrones. With that said, I don't think it's the same case. I don't think her death was something she knew was coming. She seemed eager to get things done in the month of her death, and mentioned her plans to visit Akibara (sp?). So I am guessing maybe some accident happened or just some crazy illness that takes you out suddenly. Or at least I am hoping her death wasn't something more tragic. Regardless, RIP.I'm so sorry to ask at a time like this but does the author's death mean that the manga is also dead? We won't get any update?
