the fact that the adult was actually doing all he could to just not make the mess any bigger than it already was with an excuse of taking responsibility is really good and that, they even ended up way together way after the kid enteredhis adulthood which actuallyshowsthat the adult wasn't just prying on him and waiting for their relationship to be barely legal.
