lol, i got some friends who grew up on farms - they've been driving since they were 13.

turns out you don't really have to worry about getting pulled over by the police if you're riding tractors/ATVs around your own farm, so people just let their kids loose with the vehicles once they've proven themselves to be capable enough.

Farmers can be a sophisticated bunch, same as everyone else. Just a different set of concerns to be sophisticated about

I get that drivers licenses aren't as 'necessary' in japan but you'd think if a place is going to transfer her, they'd give her like six months of training or so versus just having her go to the farm and learn on the job or so

gotta love small time folk trying to set each other up lol
