Is that actually the last chapter? It's called epilogue and the author's note make it seem like the end, but that's unbelievably unsatisfying.

it was a good story but really unsatisfying, as Ilewod said.
it's just..... there's so much that could've been there and there was nothing.

I think this is the end of volume 1. There's another volume.

The endnotes are usually skippable but this one hits right. Very true.

The juxtaposition of the crotchety old guy and the omnipresent background whispering is a good story choice too

wow 😭 getting to know the adults in their lives who care and worry for them was sososososo sweet and tender and only made their trust in each other that much more earnest 🥺 and also i was worried the baseball bits wouldnt fit the tone or like feel in place but its already so good im so excited these are young athletes with everything to prove !!!!!! i cant wait wow tytytytytyyyy !!!!!!

Seeing as someone said there's another volume and that the mangadex page hasn't said it was concluded; There must be more coming soon. I loved this story, Tho I don't feel the Epilogue works as an ending, it does work as a show of these two being friends.
