I am worried about the MC interacting with Azuki's classmate because I agree she's giving Yandere vibes. I think she likes the innocent persona of Azuki and wants to keep that safe so she might try to bully the MC into not talking to Azuki anymore. She might even know that secretly Azuki is into doll bodies but wants to keep that to herself cause she feels like she protecting Azuki from other people.

to be fair, being ace doesn't mean they can't also be an asshole too. I've seen/heard of people being ghosted in so many wild situations that I don't think this is impossible.

I think it's far more reasonable to assume she was forced to switch schools because her parents divorced rather than her willingly choosing to do so because she wanted to avoid Azuki, and because of the awkwardness of recent events between them and likely living much further away to the point their relationship would end anyway she made no effort to stay in contact/talk about her feelings.
