Honestly I thought it was going to take longer or have a more outwardly dramatic meeting between Meguru and Azuki but somehow this is so much worse, Azuki just spiraled way further down into her obsession as a retaliation to the rejection and Meguru I can't tell if she's just dismissive and didn't care for her, though that seems unlikely since she bothered to even come to Azuki's aid against the salespeople.

I think she was probably in denial about her sexuality at the time, she has her plushie fetish established by now so was her expression at that time with Azuki one of regret but Azuki couldn't notice? Did she realise it was no good at that moment?

Considering Meguru's expression on page 23 I think she definitely can tell something is really up with Azuki's feelings toward her so beyond shutting her down right after it I have to wonder what her intentions are going ahead
