Okay, this is where i say, the author doesn't depict trans very well.

The message of everyone being perverts is nice and all but why does it have to be at the cost of Marika's gender? She's been adamant about being a girl throughout the whole manga and towards the start she even said the only time she's crossdressing is with her boys' school uniform but now it's suddenly fine for her to enter a crossdressing contest dressed feminine? Like I think it's fine to cover doubts about being a "real girl" but this isn't covering it, just tacking it on at the end for no reason

just do what you want and have fun! there's trans girls that enter crossdressing contests. there's trans women who are drag queens! we're all queer here, there's no need for arbitrary boundaries.
