@JohnnyBallsack In the end his friend and the time he spends with him is his only link to that precious everyday life he desires.
And about the other dude, yeah he was nice, but the impliction I asume is that money can eaese your life and get you on the good side of people like we've seen through the manga. But in reallity there's no real connection nor good intentions from the other side, and ends up being spent/wasted in some meaningless diversion or an escape from reallity.

I wonder what happened to isami now. Also they allow this much touching in a Pub? is that a mistranslation? Ive known about hostess bars but they dont allow that kind of touching. Maybe VIPs or strip clubs sure but they have a place that allows that kind of skinship?
