I'm glad to see Paisen out, probably without any money now, but somehow with more dignity than ever. 10 years for stabbing a man multiple times in public sounds... actually not THAT crazy, considering the man was a criminal. Maru still breathing is a sad thing, though.

Probably because the victim was a yakuza and they had just came from a crashed van with other yakuza. I also think people saw the brother strangling Paisen before he was stabbed. I think some form of self defense was taken into consideration.
