I think they should have set their priorities better. Are they crunching out a game for quick money to keep Tsurayuki in school (while doing something adjacent to their chosen career paths), or are they trying to find acclaim or win some awards with this game? Cause I was under the impression it was the former in which case there really is no need for all of them to be putting their entire souls into this project and be so dejected with Kyouya's shortcuts. You can work hard even while fully knowing the intended result is not to be the best, but just good enough
