New art, serialization, changed few things, too quick, nothing explained.....why, just why? I actually wanted this to be a good cringe power hungry revenge, like other cringe mangas, but idk man, has 9 chapters now and it is about nothing.

Good premises then only went down hill full speed, the only saving grace is the art is kinda cool. There's no story just some nonsense dialogue and characters' pasts that didn't add anything to the already edgy "plot". Save yourself the time unless you just want to turn your brain off and look at the art. Read the pre-serialize version and pretend this never existed. It's harsh because I had lots of hope for this series but it seems the author didn't know what to do after the first few chapters and just do whatever he wanted.

Welp, they managed to make everything worse.

The hook is worse, and the art kinda too. H O W

Well to summarize this manhwa...

It's best to read it with your brain turned off as some commenters said.

I wouldn't really gonna give it a rating though, it's just....yeah, i mean... i dunno.

Overall it's not bad, it can be a fun quick read for some, the art is pretty wacky both in a great and in a bad way (you'll see lol) and also the first 3 or 4 chapters got retconned so you can check out the initial version of Bones, which i think looked better compared to the current version.

One thing i can definitely say for sure is that it's as Korean as darker manhwa gets.

Bones had a solid start, but nothing too exceptional. Then it got remade and things took a turn for the worse immediately.

The plot only goes farther and farther down the drain but had me coming back to see how far it could sink. It's easy enough to follow but it throws a "Oh, we're doing this now" at every corner, I had no idea where the plot was going.

As for characters, I could care less for any of the characters. MC isn't given much other than "My life sucks, gotta save my mom, every thing must die". My "favorite" character is probably the villain because it's fun what they do with him later on. Aside from them no one really matters.

The initial premise is almost thrown out entirely, it's barely even there by the time it's hit 10 chapters. Tension is non-existent, the MC's ability will bail him out of any situation. Doesn't matter how strong or skilled the opponent is, he just wins eventually.

The art is great, iffy at first compared the original but it is good. My favorite moments of what the artist is capable of is when a certain character loses their mind. At this point I think they're the only part of this entire thing that I genuinely like.

If you don't want to think and have a free afternoon. Or if you can have fun with a dumpster fire, then this is something you could consider giving a shot.

Tldr: edgy korean torture porn power fantasy dumpster fire

This 1 is absolute insanity, pretty strange in general, i dunno what to think about it but the art really carries it. Very strange and weird story, especially when it deviated from the og storyline into what it is now.

Turned for the worse after the update, obviously still somewhat good but genuinely just feels like some random crackhead off the street made his thoughts into a manhwa. Pretty dark and strange story.
