It’s impressive how many threads in the next few chapters are introduced and discarded before the random ending. We get set up for Misora’s brother taking secret photos of her for the pervy director, Misora’s quest for strength, and of course the confrontation between Friedman and Misora never happens. Such a shame, hoping he returns to pick it up, Goraku’s current manga are bad too.

He literally meant that the last chapters didn't have much of a plot and were mostly for fanservice. So my guess is that he basically just wanted an ending that could be both temporary and close it without too much trouble if he didn't come back. But I agree that regardless of the motivation, the ending is very much rushed even without its traditional chaos in his endsings. Even Rui himself finds it amusing in his farewell tweets (note how he jokes about how he just forgot about the topic of revenge for her father at some point, lol).

The manga went on indefinite hiatus after three volumes and about 30-40 chapters. As I wrote above, this has a formal ending, but given the context, it could easily be taken as temporary if he ever decides to continue with it.

I don't know how long after but the author went on a indefinite hiatus so its a good chapter to end with.
Thanks for translating the tournament arc to the end, still one of the best I ever read tbh.

I still wonder what happened to OdoriTomaki tho...

I really miss the martial arts history/info notes; lot of effort put into them.

I'm not really sure where this series could go from here, if it ever continues. I'll miss it either way, and it's been an insane trip.
