This is Rui-san, so you'll still find it laughable and weird no matter how it ends. No spoilers, of course

Honestly, given the guy's background/record, it's 99% would normally be his win.... but this story was never that logical anyway.... and he being baited with the 1 minute win reward is stupid in most serious athlete

There's records of overconfident young rising fighters losing from being too overconfident, not impossible the same to happen here.

it's just, felt weird the setup for the fight honestly.

Heck, worlds best female tennis player serena williams couldn't beat the 200th best male player in a exhibition match... the gulf of physicality if both sides are experienced is real, regardless of what anybody wishes for.
It's a magic martial art manga where the protag can hit you before your brain register she moved. All normal metrics are off in those cases.

Discussions about this manga add a certain charm to this work. It's like watching '90s teen comedies with your art-house-loving friend, with whom you try to interpret any content from an abstruse socio-political perspective. Well, that is, behaving like ordinary film critics from the media.

If you add ethnic Russians or people of mixed Russian-Ukrainian origin, then I would even say that half or two-thirds of Ukrainians are Russian speakers. For example, one famous Ukrainian blogger said that back in the 20th century in Kyiv, the Ukrainian language easily identified you as a newcomer. But this is a topic for another conversation.

Eh, I realize that the original difference between the chapters was much smaller than between the publication of the translation, but it's funny to see that it hasn't changed much in terms of ridiculous weirdness and perversity. He even fit the depiction of relationships as meaningless sex or the Schrödinger attitude towards Misora's chastity into one chapter. It's like you meet a friend 10 years later and he's literally exactly the same. Although I definitely teared up when this chapter seemed to be the first to label something too perverted even for the local slutty girls, lmao.

Has Rui decided to come back? Has his career failed? Or was he in some strange way able to reconcile his relatives with his work? Anyway, I'm guessing that chapter releases will slow down anyway after you catch up with the once-a-month update. In any case, I will even be interested to see how Rui will resolve the issue with the fact that the last chapter at the moment more than closes the story (there are still too many subplots either not closed or have potential for development), if not logically, then thematically.
Jeez, I do wonder why there are so many "ethnic Russians" on Ukraine territories, we should ask Uncle Stalin about that crazy thing he did called "Russification"

I like it when yuri is kind of directed to a male audience. It is more dirty and vulgar than other avenge yuri. But at this point I believe the main content tag could be pornographic. Is it Erotica just because of the publication, or because it has more story than sex scenes?

This has nothing to do with Stalin and Russification. In fact, in Soviet Ukraine, a policy of UKRAINEFICATION was carried out and you were “convinced” to speak Ukrainian and constantly remember your Ukrainian carnies in order to decolonize Ukraine from Tsarist Russia. And so it is in EVERY non-Russian Soviet republic. In fact, it even went so far that the communists themselves launched separatist sentiments and centrifugal movements in the USSR.

If you were really interested in the history of Ukraine, then you would know that about two-thirds of the territory of modern Ukraine consists of parts that the Bolsheviks themselves gave to Soviet Ukraine through the annexation of Western Ukraine returned from Poland and Romania (just read the history of Poles, Hungarians and Romanians in Ukraine), populated by the mixed population Novorossiya, Crimea with Russian-Greek -Tatar history and the even more mixed to the point of losing the possibility of division Donbass region, mainly populated by Russian-Ukrainian workers speaking Russian. And let me not even tell you about Ancient Rus', its subsequent fragmentation, or God forgive me, the Galician-Volynian Principality with the Rusyns.

I lived in this country for more than 20 years and I have mixed Ukrainian roots and I can assure you that the belief in a monolithic Ukraine is one of the most unrealistic stereotypes that I have heard from those living in the West. By the way, your link refers to Russification in general, dating back to the times of Tsarist Russia, lmao. Sorry, but Stalin didn't come up with this. Russification in this case consisted (if we are talking about truly Soviet times) of learning Russian as a second language, naming streets in honor of Soviet or all-Russian figures, etc. In general, everything that you can see in British Scotland or French Aquitaine and Brittany.

Male-oriented yuri of this kins is mostly dirty and vulgar because it is written with an audience that is directly attracted to women and who view lesbian content as a source of sexual arousal in mind. I think this is obvious. Yuri aimed at women can also be sexualized, especially targeting queer women as in a number of josei publications. But it's usually more tender/passionate due to the nature of female-oriented pornography.

This is erotica because it is published as a regular heavy eromanga. The author himself calls it softcore pornography, but it was never targeted as hentai or explicit fap material as far as I know. By the way, this manga is also not officially targeted as yuri, since it is more of an ecchi manga in general than yuri. But a slightly more difficult question, since the author did not initially plan to develop story futher than one volume.

Vatnik pidor psychosis.
Just shut the fuck up, future meat cube. Your nation has been disqualified from being human, no one cares about your lies.

As for the language situation in Ukraine, people from non-bilingual countries misunderstand how bilingual countries work. You don't speak one language or the other, you speak both. 100% of the Ukrainian population are native speakers of Russian, and 90% are native speakers of Ukrainian. What language you speak at any given moment depends on where you are, whom you speak to, what day of the week it is, and what weather it is today.
It's also normal to have conversations where one party speaks in one language and the other replies in another since they both understand both languages anyway.
The only people who speak Russian without speaking Ukrainian are expats from other former Soviet republics.
And the only people who speak Ukrainian without speaking Russian are Canadians of Ukrainian descent.

First of all, thank you for devaluing your own opinion with ethnic insults and outright racism. Secondly, I never said that residents of Ukraine who speak Russian also do not speak Ukrainian. This is simply impossible, especially the extreme relatedness of both languages. Xenophobia clouded your eyes so much that you couldn’t even carefully read what was being said and simply refuted the thesis you had invented. Well, unless your original goal was simply to insult me on ethnic grounds and cartoonishly throw around “pseudo-historical imperialist colonial propaganda” labels, which is also likely. It was only about your native language, which you can only have one, and not about the language that you also speak (to be bilingual first of all means to be proficient in two languages, and not to have two languages as a mother tongue).

P.S. For those who do not speak Russian or Ukrainian, I would like to point out that the person I am quoting wrote a crude Eastern European homophobic insult in English letters under the cut. Probably hoping that people will either not understand the reference due to ignorance of the language, or will not pay attention, thinking that there is a quote under the cut.

Ignore him, soon they will send him to charge against a Machine Gun somewhere on the contact line, with a rusted mossin.
