This is the first Chinese story I've seen where the woman kept her child and it's a train wreck. Why? She was young when her husband left so why couldn't she bounce back? She could have gotten her life together and moved on with some other man but she let herself go just becaue her husband left??? Too disgusting. I also don't like we're being told ML is trash because his parents are trashy even though it's kind of realistic.
