I didn't know there was a term for it, but compulsive heterosexuality is such a bitch. This was a cute read, and I'm glad it had a happy ending, it's unpleasant to think about how many people force themselves to be with and sleep with people they don't like just so they can get lukewarm acceptance from the people around them instead of the disapproval they fear.

Very lovely read. Read it elsewhere but glad it's on here now as well. It does so much with so little--exactly what you want from a one-shot. This would be a painful read if it were a full series but would be really good. A full series sort of like this (not exactly) is "Even Though We're Adults." One of my absolute favorites for how it provides depth to each its characters.
