Man, the whole pacing of this chapter feels...weird. It's like everyone only developed physically but they're all talking like nothing's changed in 3 years. If Sarada's having this argument with Shikamaru now then how many other times has she done it in the last 3 years. Wouldn't Eiida have been able to figure out Sarada and Iincho aren't under her thrall after 3 years? Judging by this chapter they're pretty terrible at making excuses and lying.
All in all I'm still super excited to see where the story goes.
