I'm sure there's been some 'widow' stories before but it is interesting to have a manga interpretation of the subject

God..that bit when he called his wife to ask for something..that hurts and something that can actually happen. I remember seeing a friend's uncle called his wife to ask her for something....and then he remembered she passed away a month ago.

@MOKALI off-topic but was wondering have u read Fujii on the Roadside, what u think bout it? Its a newer seinen series aimed at adults, really popular in Japan but kinda of dead in the West, only 3 chapters translated.

Nice, thanks for picking this up. I thought I followed the series earlier because I enjoyed sekitou elegy and the synopsis on MU was interesting. Looking forward to see whats the actual cause of her death as well, too young for sure but at least she died with someone at her side and not the usual weeks later lonely deaths in the news.

Thanks for the chapter. Looking forward to reading this. What I liked about this chapter was how the shock hadn’t hit him yet. He made all the calls and acted normal - called out for her and she wasn’t there. And as he stood in the kitchen alone I knew it was about to hit - then they switched back to the present. Beautifully done.

some ppl move on quicker although he still has work/not sure how much time off a widower gets versus like maternity leave when they have children tho i did see a summary that he's gonna 'discover stuff about his wife he never knew' so there'll probably be drama in future chapters/explain things about his personality
