While rereading this manga doesn't really do much, but checking the comments is more interesting since at this point lots of people still hadn't noticed this story belongs to surrealism. At a casual glance one might think this is like 4koma written in a long format, that is, just silly comedy that doesn't need to stick to continuity overly much, but it's clearly not. This has comedy, yes, but the comedy is not the aim, just a byproduct. Of course this is exceedingly subtle surrealism, I doubt any publisher would have accepted it otherwise, but it's that, nonetheless. So, it's funny reading comments attempting to take this seriously to any degree. Although that being said, I probably tried it myself until very recently.
