So this is the final chapter of this manga.
How did you guys find it ?
Ngl I did shed some tears translating this chapter especially at Alicia's first and final letter.

Like I said, this is technically the last chapter of this manga, but I'm 65% sure that the volume book will have an Ss. Because the mangaka said he was moving on to doing volume stuff when he finished submitting chapter 19.
If he was just doing bonus illustrations, it wouldn't be worth mentioning right?
There's no release date of volume 3 or 4 though as of yet though, so imma hold off declaring this manga complete for now.
Originally, I would have bundled the SS with the last chapter , but alas that's no longer an option, So we wait for when the volume comes out. If there's no ss in the volume, I will quietly update the covers and insert the bonus illustration to chapter 19 and you'll see an updated complete notice. (Or not since anyone can update a mangadex series so I'm not in full control of who changes what)

For this chapter, it covered the important parts , but there are some smaller bits that aren't included. Like Rachel going to her friend's wedding and Noah picking her up early and her leaving early cause they miss each other, and my favourite , Austin needling Noah , offering Rachel a shoulder to cry on anytime in front of Noah, taunting that Rachel told him everything, but not him, making Noah pissed ,which was payback for the punch , lol.
Also, I keep on meaning to mention but I keep forgetting,Noah and his siblings have chestnut hair and hazel eyes, but the covers keep showing him as a blond. Rachel's the one who notably has blonde hair described as straw coloured IIRC.

The mangaka admitted and apologize that he had to summarize quite a number of things due to either a lack of time or not enough pages. So on the off chance the novel ever gets an official english translation, do give it a read to compare the difference.
Imo, the mangaka did an excellent job at the adaptation and did the novel justice despite some scenes hitting the cutting floor . I wouldn't say no to an anime adaptation too, no matter how unlikely this may be.

Mind, this is not a guarantee I'll absolutely do it. I have a current backlog of 5 volumes. That may not sound much to you, but that's a total of 800 pages at minimum ,plus 1 drama CD with 80 pages worth of pure script and having to time it. And I'm very close to a burnout, especially since I want to finish them off before Resident Evil 9 and fatal frame 2 remake is released. I want to play games again

This truly was a wonderful story. The mangaka really did a good job of fitting the whole story in 19 long chapters.
Now if I had to express one regret, it would be the fact that Alicia never knew Rachel real feelings towards Noah. It’s indeed a good thing that she never knew about Noah’s incestuous feeling, but it’s probably what led Rachel to never tell Alicia about how she felt toward Noah. She never had the full picture of her environment, thus she felt responsible for things she shouldn’t have to.

As someone who's been a bit rambly in these comments and who has a deep appreciation for you allowing us to be moved by this story, thank you always, Sophrenia. I cried quite a bit at this last chapter, at Alicia's clumsy and sincere handwriting and words, at the fact that she'll never know what happens to get dearest loved ones, and at how still, she can remain in their memories as beautiful as she was when she was alive. I've read countless stories over the decades, but there's something so simply but profoundly moving about this one tale that I don't think I'll be able to forget for a long time.
