Oh yeah, I predicted that last chapter and there are more clues possible hinting about that this chapter too (like why did Noah get upset that Rachel said he was “like a brother” to her lol)

Right now, though, from the audience’s persepective (and Rachel’s) Noah does believe he’s truly in love romantically with his sister and doesn’t seem to recognize that he might actually be in love with Rachel instead. She’s just acting like that because she’s more afraid of rejection than just taking her shot, so she’s playing the “kind best friend” so she can continue being by his side.
