Yeha ofc Rudy relate to that quirk i mean honrdtly its a miracle Rudy hasnt made a weapon yet that somehow starts walking on its own (dont give her ideas)
So the alchemist's argument was "using monster parts to make swords and capes is no different than using them to make an unstoppable killing machine that obeys my every command," and everyone but the knight just goes "yeah that checks out, she's got us there." WTF was she going to do with it if it worked properly? Is the knight the only character in this group with any brain cells?
The argument isn't about scale or power, it's about morality. 'Necromancy' is generally reviled for desecrating the dead, but if no souls are involved, what she's doing is no more or less disrespectful to the corpses she's using than crafting weapons out of them.
I love the intricacies that go all the way even into the rations/travel food. Of course the soldier would have pemmican, the vegetarian/minimalist would eat trail mix, the science maniac would have fantasy soylent, and the guy that can carry everything would make whatever the hell he wants.
It seems odd injecting the potion wasn't even brought up as an option, leading me to wonder; Do Syringes even EXIST in this world, I could see that being what Rudy ends up designing if not.
