Wait what? Rudy ISN'T a dwarf? I was totally convinced she was.

At first I thought she was a halfling until the dungeon carpenter halfling showed that there are actual halflings in the setting and she's not one. Then I thought she was a dwarf but she's not that either now that there's an actual dwarf.

Maybe she's just short with actual clinical dwarfism? There's still the possibility she's a gnome, which would fit the amazing but impractical inventions, but then there'll probably be a gnome side character chapter and she'll be surprised to see one.

If I had seen those as my first impression of this artist, I would have assumed they where a psychopath using their art to hold back murderous urges.

I think she's just a kid considering how everyone treated her + maybe being somewhat on the short side for a human.

Reminds me of Dunmeshi's "tall men" for the traditional humans. Does also bring to mind the earlier "skinmen" with the beastmen, so therefore there must be skinless folk somewhere out there.

If i understand correctly, it's because they are showing bare skins unlike the fur covered beastmen.
