Alright, what I get from this chapter and the info on weapons is that the system, organization by levels, rankings and such do exist for everyone but he may be the only one able to see it explicitly (plus he has the boon to gain and freely distribute his sp amongst other things), otherwise the different tier of hunters and weapons reacting to it wouldn't exist, right?

I cannot comprehend. Why not using firearms? They lived in the modern era. Gun and bullet is the way to clear the dungeon very quickly.

@nightwatch25 @Vergift Guys, it's set in Japan. They have some of the strictest gun laws on the planet, with an outright prohibition on civilians owning them. Even the police only have .38 revolvers.

Well, you'd think they would reconsider their gun laws if dragons, manticores and other carnivore monsters started roaming around. What's stranger is that the world is suddenly turned into a DnD adventure and swords and medieval armor are fashionable again. I'd personally love to see a magic punk manga where humanity uses magic to advance its science; just imagine fighting dragons using magically-powered power armor.
