You know how much people will pay for good plastic surgery? This guy will make a killing. Breast enlargement surgery can cost anywhere between 6,000 to 12,000 dollars. Breast reduction surgery can cost anywhere between 6,000 to 15,000 dollars.

Realistically he's set for life as the premier choice for breast cosmetic/medical treatment. On the cosmetic side, he can fix 'em to look however they want while still keeping them 100% natural, and I wouldn't be surprised if "correction" included the ability to cure breast-specific medical issues like breast cancer. No surgery, no recovery period, no risk, etc.

He'd have to charge a fortune just to keep the client list down to something he could actually handle.

I think this was actually discussed on the first chapters by Rimu and him, but first he needs to develop the skill further. So far it's still very underleveled so needs to constantly practice. Hence, what he's been doing until now with the ladies(the harem is a side bonus/after-effect).

It isn't a problem derived by the fact that it's a manga, but rather that the development is so subtle—legit, what kind of power is this? She might as well just be going through normal puberty. It feels to me like an excuse to keep an increasing number of women in his repertoire to fondle, especially when you see the other magic/skills at play being marginally more effective than the groping he's been doing. Spells, precognition, invisibility, shapeshifting... and you compare that to a skill that lets you permanently change your bosom a millimeter per one groping session.

Obviously the girls have their own issues. It doesn’t change my impression that all of their developments feel incredibly staggered, and they all come across as a rotating lineup for him to fondle. Come on, man. Do you think I was just saying it because I’d like the first girl to have big boobs?

I would argue this setup would work far better in an villain of the week format. But the villain in question would be someone’s insecurities regarding her chest in some form, with the plots cleanly delineated and bookended properly in between the arcs. Good setup for exploration of world building, the constant theming of dealing with insecurities, and of course the exploration our MC’s power.

As it is, this is far more flagrant fanservice. “Rascal Does Not Dream” feels like a better execution of the general idea.
