I am really glad people nerfed mimics so hard to just limit the thing only to treasure chest. That creature is just paranoia nightmare fuel.

I remember reading about a DND campaign centered around a dungeon that I think moved around. The big reveal about it was that it wasn't a dungeon, it was a mimic god.

Play a single souls and now you have to try to not hit every thing wall just in case... then you have Elden Ring cave with like 10 different illusion walls in a single cave and you are fucked, all wall must be checked

Fun fact, Margit's Shackle count as hit on illusory walls and has a pretty big reach, put it on a shortcut and use it as you explore, you'll never miss any illusory wall, although you won't know where they were originally :v
