Yeah, okay. All I'm getting from this series is: "Life is unfair, let us prove to you how unfair it is by continuously stumping on you, and creating arbitrary standards that only exists to generate drama."
Life being unfair is one thing, but shoving it down our throats so persistently is another. I thought this is going to be a story about a guy who "tries hard" in a very persistent, and narrow way, and finds a spot to shine (even if a bit crudely at first). I was expecting his enemies to shit on him, but I wasn't expecting his allies to join in as well, and then have the narrative to try to explain how much it makes sense that they all collectively shit all over him.
I'm out.
