bro wasn't the greatest fighter in the history of fighters, he's just really good at learning to the point he leapfrogged akita. you never see him fight anyone other than akita because he'd definitely lose, he was just a challenge perfect for where akita is at the current point in his education (and because rikudou wanted the satisfaction of seeing her shithead brother get punched in the face)

It is a bit silly though that Akita fought basically the same guy twice in a row, he was very similar to Bartleby. Strong all rounder that Akita can't land on but a glass cannon who folds when Akita is able to figure him out, though if anything even Bartleby put up more of a fight (though the brother has an excuse for getting KO'd - he's not a fighter).

Can't say this was a satisfying chapter. Had a decent buildup but the conclusion felt way too rushed. Would have preferred the brother go out in at least two hits -- following up the initial straight with a high kick to the head on the staggering brother. Make the entire chapter focus on the fight, then Setsuna can come in next chapter. They have the same exchange they had here, Akita lashes out, maybe lands one minor hit, then gets blown out in usual fashion.

As it stands, it just feels too abrupt. There's no satisfaction.

I think the dissatisfaction comes from the fact that there's no realisation he's screwed, he goes from 100% confidence to KO'd.

This chapter was very anticlimactic, with one punch. Ik he’s stronger, but it’s could lasted longer. But other than that bro…. Come on man, you could had a better wish. Other than that I need to know whether or not, there is going to be a romance/dating, to not keep getting my hopes up. PS: I know, a fuck violence manga having romance or some stuff like that?! Not the greatest fighter, but his talent is stupid, and he was completely dominant until this point and in way better condition. I'm fine with him losing due to a difference in mentality, but Akita just got a powerup and one punched him. He didn't win with grit or strategy. Just main character power, which I really don't like in martial arts mangas.

To be fair. Message of this manga is that unadulterer vilence is meant to thrump strategy, clear thinking, style and other bs. Rikidou wants to create fighter thriving in instincual violence.

and while I'm here thinking 'the reward I want is some juicy segs' I get that akita feels really pissed that he was experimented and tortured, just for her pleasure, barely getting out alive. I still remember he is messed up and wants to beat and rape her, so I'm not cheering for him to win really... I just hope he will separate the beating part and the fucking part at some point.

It must also be said that even in his "super reasonable" state, the superior instinct, he is still weak and famished. While she is in her top shape, with a spa plus. This won't end well.

PS: I knew this was gonna be good when Reason was in the chapter title, cuz with this manga...

Why is everyone surprised Akita one shots a guy who isn't a fighter. Aside from that I'm like almost sure that's how all if not most of his fights have been. He gets beat for 1-2 chapters then Akita hits a counter and he wins. The knee on the first guy, the surprised punch to Setsuna, the triangle on the knife guy. I don't think it's a power up he just knows how to counter better I'm guessing now he got that UI

Hopefully he uses his new violent DT/UI to get some revenge on Setsuna. I do like me a ryona tag

Why is everyone surprised Akita one shots a guy who isn't a fighter.

They're more surprised at how poorly it was paced, explained, and written. A lot of wasted chapters and therefore wasted time.

It made what should have been cathartic (beating up an annoying character) instead into a rushed, unearned, and unsatisfying conclusion.

Different expectations.
Some readers want a complete experience while some are happy as long as the art is awesome and the sex jokes are plentiful.
