I wish it had more pages out to really tell where does the author intend to move with the story, because it could just be the post (or reverse?) Isekai where the MC can enjoy like a military veteran a normal life, rekindle an old and odd friendship that can turn into something more, or old demons might start popping into this world and it turns into a battle manga.

I want to give the author the benefit of doubt because I enjoyed "What Do You Call This Trash" quite a bit, found it well handled and with a good pacing in spite of setting up a lovely girl interested in the MC that didnt go anywhere in the end, probably due to a lack of time.
