So Mao not only justified his actions into being a weak and inmature individual, but also looked like he didn't give a fuck about Nagi being sold to the showbiz degens in the end. Checking the dialogues, Mao is seemingly ignorant about the consequences of his actions and his "boku wa shiranai" response in a deadpan tone after being yelled by Reiji because he sold a child to the showbiz means he knows what he did... but doesn't give a flying fuck about.
Reiji realizing he may have been selfishly projecting his situation into this whole shitshow after Mao said he was right with what he had done if that meant there would be someone who would go that far for someone like her... and then redirecting all that rage onto himself may have a triple interpretation. He may have realized he may have been part of Nagi's misery... or maybe it would mean she and people around would be better if he wasn't around anymore... or possibly Mao mindfucked Reiji by literally saying the endgoal justified all the means if that meant Nagi was going to live.
Going to Yuri's rhapsody: she may have realized all this time she just went with the flow and was always a dead fish larping as someone who was fighting fate. She became a teacher because her family were teachers in the end. Falling for Reiji in a sick way was also part of that boring lifestyle and that shit only made her have a turn for the worse. So, she concluded Reiji is far off gone and, for the first tike in her life did something she may consider as wrong for her own desires and beliefs, but for a good cause... release Nagi and let her be what Reiji needs now, letting Reiji go in the process too. Maybe she questioned Nagi why she was chasing Reiji back then in chapter 155-159 and her answer was what she made Yuri begrudgingly release her. And you can tell she's hurting herself a lot for the decision she made. She's giving up on her reason to live, having to hard swallow her pride as both an educator and as a woman. Maybe she'll turn herself to the cops or hang herself, who knows, but as how shit is going, she technically has already lost the battle for the Reijibowl by giving up.
Reiji still has to hear the answer to the 2nd question he gave to Nagi and never got an answer (not the one about who was she apologizing to, but the one that will save him. Why did she turn back to chase him if she seemingly cut ties with him).
Next week we'll get the final color page. So it may be the climax moment of this manga.
