To this day, one of the best portrayals of sick, delusional obsession mixed with a savior complex I've seen portrayed in manga. It really reminds me of a reddit post documenting the journals this creepy guy made about his coworker without her knowing, where he'd planned out their whole lives together and titled it "Our Love Forever."
Opening the last chapter with her having conversations with no one at the door to his house and then revealing she'd been following him and Chako throughout their entire date. Showing how she continually asserts her authority over him, playing off him blocking her as a childish spat, and immediately coldly stalking him once she sees he's on a date with Chako, instantly jealous and possessive.
Her inner monologue going on and on about how she understands him, the situation he's in, that all she wants to do is help him and he just doesn't get it yet, but the veneer cracking with the panel of her looking completely deranged outside the karaoke room of two teenagers mumbling psychotically to herself while she reminds him she's a woman too, and he's hurting her with these "betrayals".
That sick smile when he rejects Chako, telling him what a good job he's done for keeping his "promise" to her, saying she knows she isn't special to him but he's special to her, promising that SOMEDAY she'll let him go, but waiting for them outside and proclaiming herself the Goddess of Salvation, and to go into the next chapter, fantasizing about him running into her open arms, immediately contrasted by the cold hard reality of her standing there smiling blankly while he looks on confused and terrified.
It's so fucking peak dude, I have yet to see something else in manga that so effectively delves into the psyche of a deranged person like this in a way that doesn't feel completely unrealistic or over the top (ie: Yuno Gasai), if anyone's got any suggestions I'd love to hear them cause I think shit like this is so chilling and interesting
