As much as I hate berserk mode moment a.k.a deus ex machina mode, I think it's about time Delphine itself got more focus. One of the mysteries that got me into this series, is "what is Delphine?".
Sure the story about war and politics in this manga is fine, but the mystery behind Delphine existence, and the origin unsorcerer war (the theme from the beginning!) are pretty much buried.

People's frustration about this series I think comes from the translation process that stopped middle way (in a point where rygart whole heartedly trying to crush his close friend). It really crush the plot momentum (the additional plot of the twin princess also makes it worse).

I think I will try to read this again after the arc is finished... I hope it can help to rebuild the story n its emotion well

its not newtype bullshit the Delphine has a autonomus use system that activates when the pilot is knocked out and apparently is set with a preprogrammed combat style probably built from a former pilot what that means in plain english is : the robot can pilot it self if it acknowledges that the pilot is incapacitated.

@Nightshade they kinda did say everything but it was background noise a lot basically the world this takes place in is earth or some colony world some hundred/thousands/maybe more years in the future and the original regular humans all went extinct because the sorcerers were born Delphine was a last ditch attempt at a trump card to beat the sorcerers but the war came to an end before it was used and all the people who knew about it died so it was forgotten til the start of the story

@Tych well only MC can pilot this gundam crap as he can not use magic just like the former pilot,some air plane like Su-34 if the pilot got knock down or unconscious auto pilot will engage it self

@dreminh actually I could be wrong but it actually wasn't cause of anything special it was just Rygart accidentally figured out how to turn it on and the second he did the Delphine registered him as its current pilot it didn't matter whether he could use quartz or not the thing has a biometric registry system that is what makes so only he can use it
