YEAHHHH BURN IT DOWN!!!!! actually now i've thought about it i think theres a different manga with this kind of story where the main character gets imprisoned and does paper work but is super powerful and is the superpower behind scenes making the country function and then another manga where the villainess decides to just live comfortably in the prison

She...doesn't really need to do much to the country though?

If she's basically been the one running the country recently, just her leaving alone will cause the downfall of it in due time.

So she can just go establish a new base in the empire with her people and just enjoy the occasional reports from her remaining 'spies' of how the country is spiraling down.

If that's what you want there is a story similar to this one.....she does manipulate the whole country from the prison cell without any magic whatsoever, just with a super competent spy network and political schadenfreude
