Bug: Site preferences not saved

Every time I log in, I have to select theme and chapter languages again.
Checking my User Settings, it does appear they are saved there.

Site settings are saved in browser localstorage, if they're being wiped then you're deleting that somehow.

I am then to assume if I request a change to save it to a database, it going to be rejected ?
Using localstorage only works for a single device, and presumably short termed when using browser private mode.

Some settings will be saved serverside in the future, anything reader-related won't be as people tend to have different preferences on desktop vs phone.
