You know, with all these fake relationship plots, i've never seen anyone pulling the "we only started dated recently" card. Instead everyone just tries to concoct some flimsy backstory, only for it to fall apart spectacularly. Like, here, they could just went with the way things are - senpai and kouhai, met at the job, didn't have much time to learn a lot about each other yet.

On a side note, can't recall any stories with guy being asked to present his "girlfriend" instead of vice versa.
