Decent return to form. Eita is the Ace but Bungo doesn't sit out games. We also get to see more of Eita's mindset and Bungo's competitive spirit.

62/4... 15.5. 39/3... 13. Yep, Eita has more efficiency as a pitcher.

With that kind of character motivation, it's confusing as hell why he would switch from being an apparently talented position player to a pitcher.

@ImHungry he may of always been a pitcher but as a first year he wasn't ready to take the mound. But just like Noda and Makoto he was a talented fielder and batter so they used him. He was just overshadowed by their ability as first years.

I actually find it kinda crazy how many first years they had out on the field against Kamihonmoku. Noda, Makoto, Eita and eventually Bungo. 4 of the spots were taken by first years with 3 of the remaining for third years. The second years didn't seem to have a good crop.

Hm, Eita seems to think Bungo has this jealous personality when he really doesn't. It's good his training is bearing fruit thanks to his ambition, but that mentality of his might actually come back to bite him.

This guy went from bench bat with 3 pages of screen time, to ace pitcher lol.

@sineclayr Which is odd because his focus chapter during the game made it look like he acknowledged Bungo and knew he thrived on competition.

With that towel swing, I feel like Bungo has been practicing all types of pitches. The guy probably set a goal for himself and doesn't care about anyone/anything else including ranking/offers.
