ehhh i'm betting that maybe the gladio is sadly secretly apart of the slave trade in some form (maybe funding the traders) foxwife then finds out then we cue his backstory/big ass reveal about how he never view her as a person but as property (does that sound generic enough? lol) then MC has his SEX harem stop gladio and send his ass to jail or something and in the end MC will keep foxwife in the harem to make her feel not alone or something so maybe foxwife will end up with the MC in the end

Never been a fan of the MC getting all the attention. Those settings always turn out as forever sexless because it breaks immersion for the audience or as a bunch of one dimensional sex doll's that author/mangaka pretend have personalities.

So rather then devolving into MC in ever more extreme fetish fantasies, I don't mind side characters actually getting some action.
