The first pair; A Sword Saint vs a kid with a split personality. Nice.

Also, I like what Great implies. He supports the current government because they align with his beliefs but he doesn't like the people running it. He could've been king if he wanted but it's too much of a hassle for him and there was still a lot he didn't understand. But now, the image is clear and he'll support whoever it is that does their best, or else he'll kill them both.

Also, Kai was right. Great's support means wonders. Without it, Master doesn't have much to stand on.
