Another one that I'm glad didn't immediately make him skinny by chapter 3.
I'm also quite glad it's not regression, brother barely even got sparknotes of the future lol
now you mention, that is indeed positive news lol, i do remember there was probably 2 more manga that also didnt become skinny right away.

There is a page missing in this chapter
Good job figuring out that a page was missing and finding the page in question. The RAW providers I typically look at don't have that page either, so I had to make an account on the official site to find it myself.
I relayed the message, but I can't promise a proper update. The best I can do is the following:
real-page-6.png

Panel 1: My apologies...
Panel 2: Dizureeri... He can be a bit impulsive at times...
Panel 4: You can see through his body like a mineral... You can barely make out his shape if he only moves slightly...
Panel 5: Ah, sorry for my late introduction

(This is just my personal manual translation, so don't take this as part of the group's release.)

That strategy seems pretty ill-adviced. Maybe quickly mixing water and dirt to create mud would have worked as well, while the hero kept the crystal demon busy. But then again, there was no coordination between Merlon and Herbert. They did absolutely nothing to combine their actions so that the demon has to concentrate its attention on a single opponent, while the other uses the opportunity to attack from a blind spot. That's why 2vs1 is so dangerous. To avoid that, the demon would need to be withdrawing constantly, preventing either Merlon or Herbert circling to its side or back. We saw nothing like that happening. If the thing is crystal, it certainly shouldn't be any champion of agility, anyway. Crystal is stiff.

Problem is, they can't see him very well. The missing page shows that the demon is hard to see and that's why they were struggling.
So even if Herbert could make some mud, there was no guarantee he would hit the demon since Merlon can't keep the demon in place on his own without being able to see him properly and can't figure out where the best blind spot could be.
That's why Herbert decided to use his own blood since the demon would be close enough for him to pull it off.

I agree using your own blood is ridiculous, but it's stickier than mud and hard to remove.

It's also waaay easier to ensure it actually gets on him, since the demon has to be close to attack, whereas throwing mud (assuming the demon would even allow them the time to make some) can miss.
