Only do momentary controls long enough to use the people to harvest more hair secretly, and don't openly do anything until you have everyone's hair. Okay, alot of shit slipped through authors fingers just to make a revenge subplot. I get that mc is a planner but author has shown multiple times how quick-witted he is in sudden situations. Like I get that his guard was down with the princess but how did he not quickly recognize how odd the situation was along with what she was saying? Like this dude has trauma from his bullying so you'd think he'd recognize the words stuffed in the princesses mouth. Plus he would immediately know the princess wouldn't say that shit to him after all he did. Hopefully this cat and mouse game doesn't go on for much longer cause that bitch should've died at the dwarves dwellings a loooooooong time ago.
