Hmmm, I'm wondering if she put herself in there to protect ... herself? But then that would suggest that she cannot take away the powers once conferred. Nah, the author is writing this like she was PUT in there by these comic book villains. But how the hell do you put an all powerful goddess in stasis? With a power she gave you? Also, yeah, let's bring all the people together in the same city. They all saw the power of the lead villain who destroyed a whole city AND a whole mountain already. Yeah, he won't do THAT again, right. RIGHT? At this point I'm making popcorn, settling in for a laugh at future log pulls, and waiting for some sort of closure that makes some semblance of sense. Might as well try and enjoy the mindless revenge porn at this point.

She probably sealed herself to keep that asshole leader from finding a way to kill/control her and completely take over as god of that world. As long as she's still in charge, he can't make himself immortal/invulnerable, meaning the locals and the MC have a chance to stop them.

The Princess' power extends around the whole city, meaning the laser attack can't make it through. It's only the rest of the jobber classmates that are a threat to her.

As soon as I saw the kingdom, I got some heavy, dark vibes. Like I feel like that entire capitol is just going to burn to the ground before the end of this story, just to make the final badguy the MOST hated he can be.

I mean, the scenario where the goddess can't just depower her chosen makes perfect sense depending on how the empowerment works. I don't know why are you acting as if it was somehow illogical, especially since it was pretty clear from the beginning that it didn't work on charismatic miracles framework because otherwise they would get depowered instantly or near instantly.

As for the capital, it's combination of princess's protection and the fact that they are gambling on the fact that Yasuda has interest in keeping the princess alive since he believes that she holds important secrets about the nature of his powers. Not only that, it's literally stated in the story by Yasuda and the princess.
